Over in Mooroopna, there is a little place that not too many people know about, but for many when you find it you never want to leave, it is called Rodney Neighbourhood Kindergarten. It is a kindergarten with a lot of heart and a lot of soul, a beautiful environment for the children, and a wonderful Steiner program nuturing the whole body and soul, a place of family and community like no other I know in this region. Even many years after leaving the kindergarten children and parents want to return, to see, to smell, to experience the magic all over again. My children are now 18 and 13. I still visit each year and love the opportunity to so. Pam who has been there for I over 20 years as the director and Kindergarten teacher welcomes you with open arms and huge smile each time. One of my favourite things is the way the seasons are celebrated. This year, I returned to the winter festival and then to the Lantern night also. Here is a little bit of magic of winter at the Kinder.
