What a day! Take a look at a jam packed day at St Paul’s African House, Shepparton.
This was the third annual ‘Taste of African Cultures’ celebrating the richness and diversity of a diverse range of African Cultures with traditional performances from Burundi, The Congo, Ethiopia, Ghana, South Sudan and Sudan including the Nuba and Darfur cultures. And oh wow, the thrill of the powerful beat of the Burundian drummers and onto the mighty rhythm of Kofi Kunkpe & the African Diaspora, followed by the fabulous music of Dereb the Ambassador.
It was a chance to meet and talk to African people about their cultures, join in drumming workshops and African activities and devour delicious Congolese, Ethiopian and Sudanese food.
