“The whole day feels like such a whirlwind now that I think back on it a mear three weeks later, I find it hard to pinpoint just a few moments in time that I loved the most. The weather didn’t play within the rules of an outdoor summer wedding, but it worked and by some miracle the rain stopped just for the ceremony. I didn’t have enough seeting at one point, but it got fixed and everybody was fed. I cried more tears than I had expected and my cheeks still hurt from smiling so much, there are so many little things that make me so happy about our day, I wish I could just go on for days.
Sitting and reflecting on what really made the day though, it would have to be the people we shared it with. I don’t think there is one single person that we shouldn’t have invited. The amount that people helped on the day still has me astonished, those that traveled so far just to be with us makes my heart full and we have both walked away with a family that is now doubled and we couldn’t be more grateful for that fact.
Our wedding wasn’t by any means styled perfectly, we didn’t have any perfectly curated dances or speeches that went viral. But it was our wedding and reflected everything we are and that’s what made it completely perfect”
