An Indian Cooking Class – Yum!

My mouth still waters and the smell of wonderful spices comes back when I think of this Indian cooking class.
We all learnt some great cooking tips and very much enjoyed eating the food too. Yum! It was a great group of people. It was great chatting, sharing cooking and travel stories during the class and making new friends. We had a wonderful time and look forward to try cooking the recipes ourselves. Thank you Melly and Tarbinder for teaching us.
After the class we took a tour of the Sikh Temple and had lots of opportunities to ask any questions.
The Sikhs are very welcoming to people of all faiths and backgrounds to visit the temple. I had been a few times before but it was wonderful to visit again and this time take my friend Hussain.
We are lucky to have such a diverse community in Shepparton and have opportunities like this to learn from others.
This was one of three free cooking classes put on Greater Shepparton City Council. The next one is the Filipino cooking class but sadly I believe it is all booked out.
