I was thinking about the word courage and a friend came to mind today being election day. His name is Damien Stevens. Damien is a man who stands up for what he believes in and likewise stands up for so many others. He stands up openly even if this poses challenges. Damien put himself out there even further in my mind becoming a candidate in my area in this election. I feel that takes courage for anyone to do, to stand up so openly for what you believe in.  Damien thank you for your continued inspiration and all that you do for others.
This blog post is not about what party you voted for as I believe everyone has a right to their own choice. This is about having the courage to be open in what you believe in.
