I can’t say that I have ever had the opportunity to hear the piano played live in quite the way I did last night, at the launch of the Australian National Piano Awards in Shepparton. Victor Hu from Melbourne, only 13 years old. Wow, amazing ! My spine tingled, my eyes had tears in them. I fell in love for the first time with the piano.
Last night the launch and cocktail party for the awards was held in Shepparton. Victor played to large crowd at the Eastbank Centre and the three senior girls from the Daphne Learoyd School of Dance shared some amazing ballet. The Australian National Piano Awards will be held in Shepparton . I suggest you see if you can get to the recitals or grand final concert if you can.
