It had been awhile since I’d seen my brother Roo Arcus perform

Jaiman and I headed to Kilmore last month to see my brother Roo Arcus perform. Jaiman had never seen his uncle perform and I had not for many many years. Andy to me, Roo to most spends a lot of time travelling and performing and I didn’t realise quite the fan base he’d built. We arrived to be introduced to fans that support him no matter where he goes, some had even had their own hats and tshirts made and now run the Roo Crew. It was strange but really lovely to see. They were just like family to each other it seems.  And then even the winners of the ute competition got him to sign their bonnet and their visor. Again I smiled and thought about how lovely that was to see. Even though Jaiman and I are more blues fans we still of course really enjoyed Roo’s set at the Kilmore Country Music festival. I am really proud to see how far he has come over the years with his music.

  • Sue Wilson - Liz,

You are an incredible artist in your own right. How you photographed that day at Kilmore is beautiful. Every detail captured which is stunning to look back on. Some day I’ll get you to our place to photograph us, it’s no wonder you are in demand as a photographer….your work speaks for itself, well done.ReplyCancel

    • Liz - Thank you so much Sue. The little details are the big things too. I love to preserve as much of the whole story as possible. So I would love to do that for you at your place.ReplyCancel
