Jackie & Cal’s Wedding

Jackie and Cal were married under the gum trees by the river at Bunbartha and had a reception at the McIntosh Centre, Shepparton, personalised just the way they wanted it and danced the night away to Nigel Parsons and his band. Lots of fun!

Some words from the Jackie and Cal –
” The thing I liked most about our wedding was that it was down by the river where I grew up. It felt relaxing and natural, that was pretty special !
My most memorable moment would be seeing Cal at the end of the aisle and his smile as I walked towards him.
Cal’s most memorable moments were our wedding vows and seeing me walk down the aisle
We also loved our first dance as it was a bit different but it was us.
Our venue was great as we made it our own, with a country feel and beautiful chandeliers lighting the room.

On our honeymoon we had a ball in USA visiting the World dairy expo in Madison and all the great cows at the show, then going to Vegas which was totally full on with so much to see and do! Even getting to participate in magic tricks on stage with David Copperfield and as an extra in the filming at the famous pawn shop. From there we went to Hollywood where we rode horses up to the Hollywood sign and also went to the Bon Jovi concert
Then we relaxed a little at Venice beach taking in all the different types of people and street performers which were amazing.
We finished off our honeymoon at Fiji at Toberua Island which was so beautiful! The people were so friendly treating you like there own family. We enjoyed snorkling, fishing and sitting by the beach relaxing before our last leg home.”

The content of the slideshow above and the images below varies slightly. Enjoy both. Also at the very bottom of this blog post you will find Jackie & Cal’s story to listen and watch from around the farm. It is such a lovely story. Perhaps you haven’t watched it before?

Below you will see a special piece of gold that Cal wore on his jacket. This is something that the groom’s great great grandfather dug up and decided the first son to marry got to wear it and pass it on to his children.

It was very special for Jackie to visit Wanganui Homestead in Shepparton to have photos taken here as it is where her Nan lived. Jackie was photographed in the same place as her Nan had done many years before on her own wedding day.

And for those that didn’t see it or would like to watch this again – here is Jackie and Cal’s story and couple session done about 6 months ago. Turn up your speakers to hear their story I made at the farm.
