“Personal values are shaped by our experiences. As children we absorb the behaviour of those around us, each action settling into our subconscious. As we grow we make choices about what is important to us and how we want to live our lives. Belonging to the McNamara family feels a little like winning the lottery of life, from our earliest experiences we have been surrounded by love and support and everywhere we turn there have been role models showing us what it means to live simply, love unconditionally and be kind to all. If our family values could be captured in pictures, this is what they would look like!
Over two days, the family of Marie and Pat McNamara talked, laughed, played and ate! In the evening the music began with the next generation vying for the spotlight. With strumming guitars, together we sang the words to Nothing More by the Alternate Route; this moment, more than any other, would have made Grammy smile.
