Takako & Owen’s Wedding SYDNEY

Owen and Takako were married in Tokyo with a Shinto Japanese wedding, but they also had a wedding in Sydney where Takako and Owen live today.
This is their Sydney wedding. Many of Takako’s family travelled over from Japan for their Sydney wedding, with a ceremony at Christ Church St Laurence Anglican Church followed by drinks in the church hall and later on dinner at Elizabeth Bay House. One of the highlights of the wedding ceremony was the amazing music by Tobias Cole, countertenor singing ‘Ombra mai fu’ and also music from the amazing Christ Church St Laurence choir. The day also included a visit to Central Railway Station where Owen had a surprise waiting for Takako, a steam engine complete with wedding ribbons. This was very fitting as railways are a big part of their life. They met through railways and run rail journeys around the world.
