Wulumbarra Day of Mourning Dawn Service

The Wulumbarra Day of Mourning Dawn Service is a community led initiative which initially took place last year on January 26th 2021 at Kaieltheban Park , Mooroopna on Kaieltheban Land on Yorta Yorta woka . This event continued this January 26th, 2022 – a commemoration of all Sovereign First Peoples who have been impacted from the initial stages of colonisation in 1788 which have continued into the present. 
The January 26 Day of Mourning Dawn Service is an opportunity for community to stand together to start the day off in reflective, healing and respectful way that enables us an opportunity to respectfully reflect on the true histories of this land.
